The EU finaly has come to it's senses, and in a way confirmes Peak-oil.
Now a new energy policy has been annouced:
http://www.eupolitix.com/EN/News/200701/6b4f88e1-4003-439d-894e-d9986225...
It is nice to see that it is being called a reduction in CO2 emission,
but we know that the real reason to prepare for a reduction in energy useage is ofcourse Peal Oil.
Allthouhh we don't know the exact date of Peal Oil, it is clear that the dat will be somewhere between now an 5 years into the future (if you take condensates and NLG into account).
So, it is now official in the EU!!!!!!!!
Roger From the Netherlands
"On climate change, the proposal says the EU should commit to cutting CO2 emissions by 20 per cent by 2020 – though this falls short of the 30 per cent advocated by environmental groups."
You see the numbers? 20% reduction by 2020.... this is exactly in line with the expected decline in oil production in 2020.
Roger from The Netherlands
I've been convinced since about 2004 that Global Warming has just been a nice way for world leaders to talk about peak oil without letting the cat out of the bag. If they did everyone would just start the hoarding and resource wars early.
Smekhovo is actually the master of the 1-2 post. As in one or two sentences. We love Smekhovo because we hate him. He continues to thrust his responses effectively. We have tried different and alternate methods. Jack is gonna kill me for this. I mean it. I'm serious. Jack is really gonna kill me for this.
Heeeee! Welcome Back Oil CEO!
