CBC Ottawa recently did a short feature news piece on Peak Oil, featuring yours truly. The camera work is a bit dodgy, but the reporter told the story reasonably accurately. The clip is hosted on YouTube, here is a link through a page on my web site.

Thanks GliderGuider. I wish I could watch it, but I'm stuck with this awful dial-up connection. It's the price to pay for living in the country rather than the city.

GliderGuider,

Good job. Kudos. I think the reporter summed up the PO point of view nicely, even though the opposing comments probably represent the mainstream view. You deserve a lot of credit for getting out there in front of people.

Of course, now that your cover has been blown, Paul, that will probably be the end of your crime fighting days ;-)

I'm also in the boonies and on dial up, but I let it run for 30 minutes and eventually downloaded the entire thing. Enjoyed it.

Thanks for the kind words, George. I frankly never expected a local Canadian TV news story to get the kind of legs this one appears to have. I'm glad it has helped open up the debate, though. It didn't hurt that the analyst and the men-on-the-street were so obviously behind the curve :-)
