Those in Nova Scotia, more specifically Halifax, might be interested in attending a conference next weekend:

Community planning conference from May 17-18: The Nova Scotia Planning Directors Association is presenting its annual spring conference, taking place May 17-18 at the Lord Nelson Hotel, 1515 South Park Street in Halifax. The conference is open to anyone who is interested in shaping their communities. The cost is $175 per person and $25 for students. This year’s theme, “Developing Sustainable Communities,” will assist decision makers in making better choices about how their communities develop. Thanks Adam. I would just like to point out that this sort of announcement is always welcome at TOD:C. If there's something going on in your area that falls within the remit of TOD:C, then by all means let others know.
