Sounds like they may a lead on the BEE problem...not that the solution is easy. More globalism run amok, what does Mother Nature have in store next Avian Flu? You have to ask.
The water problem is bigger than anyone wants to admit.
Your round-up is a great and necessary addition to the Big Picture. Peak Oil will not happen independent of external complicating factors.
Thanks PeakTO :) I'm a big picture person - a jack-of-all-trades (and master-of-none some would undoubtedly say) - and context is extremely important. Reality is complex, and complexity is challenging, but the way to deal with that (IMO) is not to pretend that a reductionist or one-dimensional analysis is adequate, but to address the complexity. The most interesting things tend to happen at the margins - where one field blends with another, or several others, that then interact in ways that might seem counterintuitive.
Great work Stoneleigh.
