Thanks for the summary from Canada. I find the news and views from Canada, UK (via BBC) and Australia (via Energy Bulletin links) to be a refreshing contrast to the talking TV heads here in the US. There seems to be a more thoughtful consideration taking place elsewhere than here in the land of hype.

What would it take to get you folks to consider annexing the USA?

LOL! I think we might be considering that - in the sense that the flea might try to 'annex' the dog it's living on ;)

My favourite mainstream media is BBC World, as Europe seems more prepared than North America to take a hard look at a range of issues (not hard enough IMO, but harder than here).
