Check out George Clooney's new car:

Run's 12's in the 1/4 mile.

60-80 miles per charge.

Seriously; how many miles per day do you drive?  It's less then you think and charging in your own garage over night is more convenient then hanging out at a gas station sniffing fumes(in the cold).  Also the freedom from not being effected by an oil shortage like the one in 1973 is nice too.

If you need a lot of range, it CAN be done(it has!).

If you like a good conspiracy article....

The thing about battery powered vehicles is that the battery pack could be swapped with a hydrogen fuel cell if those even become a reality and use your same motor and controller.

Pull out the batteries and the charger and replace with a few hydrogen tanks and fuel cell(if that's what you want).  Either use electricity to charge batteries or make hydrogen...

I'd also like to share with you, all the links I have found on the net if you would like to convert your current vehicle over to battery power(because we can, unlike with fuel cells), or any other vehicle you want.  How fast do you want it and how much range?  If you've got the money, there are people on the EV List linked below that would be willing to convert it for free!  Or that cloud electric or electro auto will do it too.  So will the place in Canada.

Ok, the electic car sound nice but what do we do when demand of electricity goes up?? Burn more coal and natural gas to run the power plants??
Nuclear, hydro, solar, and wind.
+ Conservation, efficiency.

Just by getting serious about these two we could probably create more "new" power than we need for a long while.

Nuclear, hydro, solar, and wind.

All are going to take energy to build. Not to mention, building more nuclear plant will exhaust our finite supply of uranium. Hydro, solar and wind will not even come close to supplying us with enough power either..

Waste not Want not

absolutely not

Waste more Want more

Waste more Want more ,has performed remarkably well for the Boomers
