This Green Thinks Nature Even in the Dark?

What's the deal with this sign along a highway in New Jersey? All will be explained below, just ask the Precipice Alliance...

The Precipice Alliance, a new New York City climate change non-profit that seeks to educate the public and galvanize the art world on the issue of climate change, is having its inaugural exhibition at 7pm on Monday, Nov. 13th at a former can factory along the Pulaski Skyway near the New Jersey turnpike. The exhibit, entitled "indestructible language", consists of a 900 ft. text-sculpture in red neon affixed to the roof of the massive factory, silkscreened prints of the sculpture,
speeches by the artist Mary Ellen Carroll and NY Times environmental writer Andy Revkin, and a musical performance by Joan Osborne. The sculpture, once lit, will be visible to drivers along the turnpike and, incredibly, to passengers on several flight paths into Newark International Airport.

Complimentary wine and food will also be available.

Take the PATH train to Journal Square. Precipice Alliance staff will be on hand in the station to direct you to the event. More detailed directions are available at Precipice Alliance
