Any research done on oil that may be found in the arctic areas under what used to be the ice floes? Seems to me that there could be some significant new finds up there for offshore drilling. Enough, perhaps, to postpone our day of reckoning for few years.

I'm putting together a post on arctic oil and global warming. If you look at the standard ASPO graph, you'll see a category labelled "Polar". I got curious as to what that means. I hope to submit it soon. Meanwhile, you can check out new development in the Barents Sea (shared by Norway and Russia).
