wot hoppen to yer comments    hello to my near northern neighbors   has anybody up here in the land of the grandmother  looked at temperature forecasts for the coming winter    noaa is forcasting above normal temp     the old farmers almanac is forcasting significantly lower temps   about 5 degrees  (farenheit of course) cooler    that probably doesnt sound like much but we all know how much nat gas that translates to (well at least we know it means  lots and lots of it)     noaa relies on "el nino" S.O.I. (southern oscillation index)to a large extent for its prediction model the farmers almanac apparently relies on sun spot activity and analysis of cycles t( sort of like a chart reader for weather)   as far as i can tell
Good to know, EE, yes, we were counting on the El Nino heat, but don't really want to cross the almanac either. Here in Québec we run everything on hydro, but yes, the natgas thing might well go crazy over a cold winter.

Time to get to the other side of the equator for a few months?!
