New Zealand given its natural resources, and renewable energy potential, is in an excellent place to meet this. Its a pity that its the smaller countries like, Sweeden and Norway, that are going for these goals.

Yes - it would be good to see NZ adopt the Swedish model - they actually have better renewable resources and thus more ways of achieving those goals if they tried.
