Is T. Boones idea real? Pumping water from a depleted region's depleted aquifer, to a humid (normally) well watered region strikes me as nuts. I consider myself as a New Mexican (even though I don't currently live there), and we would be delighted to get as much rain as the SE has in recent months. Robbing the poor to enrich the rich. I'm afraid they will have to learn to get by with a lot less then they have been used to.
