Only if you have LOTS AND LOTS of free time. Sorry, but most of the proposals are standard-issue pabulum. For like all other European Union parties, the socialists are beholden to the growth illusion. Just re-regulate the financial markets, incur vast debt to 'get the economy moving again', throw money at the education system, and we'll have a happy ending.
No genuine crisis awareness, either as regards peal oil or peak credit -- the twin monsters that are driving us into the abyss.
PES = nul points
A public acknowledgement of peak oil and its economic effects is unlikely to come from coalitions of political parties. It is difficult to sell a negative message, as it will be seen by the majority. The message is best conveyed by indiriect means.
As can be seen by the number of comments on this article there is a general disconnect between politicians and the people, at least here in the UK, and that we be reflected in the results of the polls where the major parties will lose further seats.
