They are a nice, apple pie set of goals.  All projects have great goals, but some end up as neighborhoods, and some end up as, "the projects."  From the POV of a former resident, I see that my land will be "bought" or taken by eminent domain, and developed in a large block with noble goals.  I don't see anything in the presentation that assures me that I can afford to move back as an owner.

How well these things are implemented depends on the buying power of the future owners.  How well they are maintained and whether they prospers depends on who moves in, and whether they own or rent.

On Democracy Now last night, Marc Morial, head of the National Urban League and former Mayor of NO, essentially saw the plan as a land grab by an influential group of developers.
