WOW! now that was a hot story! I just read through this article which talks about the oil production falling in alaska. Thought it was interesting to see a major site posting about it.

It has got a lot more publicity than the usual - even though as you may note from the story, Alaska has been declining for years. It may be a beginning to the main stream media (MSM) picking up on this, but remembering TIME's foray into the subject, I am not holding my breath.
